Padstow Town Council is delighted to celebrate the success of our Summer Holiday Programme, which provided six fantastic activity days for children aged 4–13 during the July and August school holidays. Hosted at the MUGA and Community Hub, led by the brilliant team at LJD Coaching and supported by Padstow Social Club who provided and prepared the meals for these sessions – true partnership working!.
The sessions helped to provide inclusive, affordable and enjoyable activities for children. The Council was particularly pleased to offer discounted places for children living within the Padstow Parish and children attending Padstow School. Across the six summer sessions, 123 discounted places were taken up, these being part funded by Padstow Town Council! There were also 119 free places booked via the free school meal/Time2Move programme.
The sessions are packed with fun, friendship and a fantastic variety of activities – such as archery, sport games, art & craft and board games.
It’s great to hear some of the feedback, which LJD Coaching shared with us:
“My two children have had an excellent day today, you truly have an excellent team.”
“What a day my children have had — they are both puffed out and in bed early. Thank you!”
“He loved the archery!”
