Padstow Town Council re-developed the old tennis courts at Lawns into a brand new Multi-Use-Games-Area which re-opened 1 June 2023.
The facility has options to playing football, basketball and tennis.
The space is available to turn up and play, we do ask that play is during daylight hours only. There is no booking required but we do ask that you please think of others and share the space. You will need to take your own football, basketball, tennis balls and rackets. This is an unsupervised facility; we recommend young children are supervised by a responsible adult.
Please respect this shared space by NOT bringing bikes, scooters, skateboards or equipment for other sports into the MUGA. The MUGA has an artificial surface so please wear appropriate footwear – no studs or blades.
Please read the signage on site, it’s there for your safety and to ensure that the site can be enjoyed by all. You can report any issues with the MUGA or the equipment to the Council Offices here.
Please note the Council have agreed private use of the MUGA for the Summer Holiday Programme Sessions which run each Friday from 9am until 2pm from 24.07.26 until and inc. 28th August 2026.
The above events have been agreed by the Council and the organisers provide their risk assessment and Public Liability Insurance to the Council. During these events the space is only for participates involved in the event activities.
