Community Fun Day 2025.

Padstow Town Council are looking forward to welcoming you to our Community Fun Day on Saturday 20 September

This is a FREE event with FREE activities for all to take part in and enjoy courtesy of Padstow Town Council.  The day will include:

Eco Workshop & Pirate Boat Racing: Marvellous Eventures are hosting a workshop where you can make- seed balls /funny face grass growing heads to take home. They will also be back with a different racing game, this year its pirate boat racing, compete against your friends and family and who will be the fastest ship on our shores – Ahoy me hearties!!
Update 17.09.25: Eco Workshops will be in Community Space 1. Pirate Boat Racing will be either Community Space 1 or outside (pending weather forecast during set up)

Skate Park Coaching: Coach Frank Skateschool are providing coaching sessions for all capability levels. Bring your own equipment or subject to availability, some will be available.  Scooters also welcomed (but coaching not available).  Minimum age: 4
Update 17.09.25: Unfortunately, due to weather forecast the skate park coaching has been cancelled however we are looking to re-arrange a date for October half term (weather being acceptable) further information will be published nearer the time.

Activity Book Stall & Play Your Cards Right Game: Can you beat your friend or family member in a game of Play Your Cards Right? Or have ago at our activity book stall to claim a craft prize. Prizes are limited to one per person for children age 3+
Update 17.09.25: Activity Book Stall will be located in Padstow Social Club. Play Your Card Right Game will be located in the Community Hub

MUGA Activities: LJD Coaching Ltd will be providing super fun sport activities for children in the MUGA.
Update 17.09.25: LJD Coaching will do sport activities on the MUGA or if weather is not suitable will utilise the upstairs space in Padstow Social Club with other activities.

Music Workshops: Everyone welcome to come along, make some noise/music and try your hand at a new skill.
Update 17.09.25: Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances this will no longer take place on Saturday

Under the Canopy: Learn survival and bushcraft skills in a fun, safe and engaging way. Work together as a family or tackle the challenges sole or with others.
Update 17.09.25: Under the Canopy are attending to do fire lighting, which was popular last year as well as whittling. Whittling is where you will have stick and making it into a workable tool.

Padstow Fire Station Crew: Explore the fire engine, speak to the crew & have a go at a fun activity
Update 17.09.25: Emergency services: Padstow Fire Station Crew and Local Police Team are hoping to attend. The Local Police team will have fingerprint activity which will be base in the Padstow Social Club.

Amateur Photography Exhibition: We want you to visit and place your vote for the People’s Choice. Coming along to the Community hub on the day to see the competition entries and vote.

Face painting: Back by popular demand – all free! Minimum age: 2
Update 17.09.25: Will be in Padstow Social Club

Food Vendors: Coffee and pizza vendors available for those who wish to buy food.
Update 17.09.25: Padstow Social Club will have food available and other food venders may still attend and we will have Community Space 3 available so you can eat/drink inside

Foodbank: The Foodbank will be in attendance and will be accepting food donations on the day, come and have a chat! They are currently in need of:

  • Long life milk
  • long life fruit juice
  • soup
  • spaghetti
  • tinned custard
  • shampoo
  • kitchen/bathroom cleaner.
