Padstow Town Council own and manage the Padstow Community Hub. The Council’s aim for “The Hub” is to host a wide range of events and services that support and benefit all our Padstow and Trevone residents.
General Information About The Hub
The Hub has recently undergone a comprehensive programme of refurbishment to update, improve and widen the facilities on offer.
The Hub building is on a single level and accessible to wheelchair users and buggies. It has toilet facilities, an accessible toilet and baby changing facilities available.
The Hub is situated within the Town Council’s pay and display Lawns Car Park (PL28 8EB) making it extremely convenient for those who need to drive to events held there. There is also a bus stop a short distance from the car park entrance for Go Cornwall service buses numbers 11, 56 and 57. The Hub is a short walk from the centre of town.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi is available throughout The Hub. Log-in details can be found on the noticeboards within the building. When logging in, wi-fi users will be required to agree to Terms and Conditions of use. Full T&Cs can be seen in the linked document below.
Hiring/Use of The Hub
The Hub is available for hire by community groups, charities, support groups and organisations.
Hire Charges from 1 April 2025: Ratified by Full Council 29 April 2025.
- £25 per room, per session
- A session is considered a morning, an afternoon or an evening (regardless of length of hire period within that session)
Confirmation of when charges will/will not be made to specific groups wishing to use the Hub or Station House meeting room or Council Chamber as follows:
- Any services specifically invited to the Hub by the Town Council to provide a service: No charge
- Hirer offering a service, advice or event free of charge to the community: No charge
- A hirer offering a service, advice or event which involves a charge to attendees or payment to be made or which is a profit-making organisation: Charge
- Parties or private functions: The Community Hub does not accommodate these hire requests.

Kitchen: There is a kitchen which is also available for hire, should you wish to provide refreshments. It is equipped with kettles, pump action thermos flasks, a microwave, cutlery, crockery, glasses and mugs for use by Hirers.

Alternative Parking
Should the Lawns Car Park be busy. There is an alternative pay and display car and coach parking located a short walk away at the nearby Link Road Car Park which is owned and operated by Cornwall Council.

Lawns Car Park Area Useful Information
Within the Lawns Car Park area there is also a children’s play park, skate park and Multi-Use Games Area owned and managed by the Town Council. These facilities are open to the public and are free to use on a ‘turn up and play’ basis.
