The Mayor, Councillor Richard Higman welcomed local groups to the Council Offices to thank them for the work they do in our community and to formally present them with a large grant cheque.
Each year the Finance and General Purposes Committee consider grant applications, as per the Council’s Grants Policy, from community associations, cultural, educational, sporting and charitable organisations which are not for profit and will bring benefit to the local community.
The Town Clerk advised that “In total this year, Padstow Town Council was delighted to award £25,000 to the 25 groups/organisations who applied. It was lovely to catch up with the groups today and hear about how they have or intend to spend the grants awarded.”
If you think your organisation could benefit from a Padstow Town Council Grant, please view the Grant Policy below which gives details of eligibility criteria and the application process. Applications for 2019-20 grants will be invited in October 2018 details of which will be available on our website, notice boards and social media.
