Like all Town and Parish Councils, Padstow Town Council is NOT a planning authority. Padstow Town Council is a statutory consultee in the planning process and has a right to be informed of planning application within its parish by the Planning Authority, Cornwall Council.
Padstow Town Council has delegated authority to its Planning Committee to consider planning applications.

Emergency Scheme of Delegation Planning Mechanism Applications
Following Padstow Town Council Planning Procedure in the unlikely event that due to timings, application are not able to be extended by Cornwall Council, then Padstow Town Council does have the option to use the Emergency Scheme of Delegation Planning Mechanism. The details of this mechanism is within the Planning Procedure document appendix 1.
If we have any current applications being taken via the Emergency Scheme of Delegation Planning Mechanism, they will be detailed in the below table. If you would like to submit comments to Padstow Town Council about an application listed below, please contact the office by the date detailed in the ‘Deadline date for public comments’ for them to be taken into consideration by the Councillors.
