Overview of events Council held in 2024 & 2025
2025 Summer holiday programme ran on Fridays, where local residents could book and pay at discounted rate. Council helped fund 81 places in 2025.
2025 Amateur Photography competition ran again, this time the theme being Heritage and History – less people submitting entries this year compared with 2024 but still enable us to hold the people’s choice vote at the community fun day.
2025 Community Fun Day – rain hampered attendance but the wet weather plan of utilising the Community Hub and Padstow Social Club worked well. People enjoyed the free activities.
Highstreet Safari, ran from 15 July 2024 for 6 weeks. 456 player took part in the trail, with Thursday 15 August being the busiest day!
The outside film screening took place in July 2024. Pity the weather couldn’t have been brighter, but this didn’t stop a nice number of the community coming along and joining in.
Some great photographers entered the competition with a vote held on the Community Fun Day.
Sunshine and smiles all round on the Community Fun Day with lots of people participating in the free activates.
Moving Monster trail ran in October 2024 with 344 players taking part and Halloween (31st Oct) being the busiest.
Elmer’s Christmas trail ran over the festive period with the 26th December 2024 being the busiest and estimated that 608,000 steps were taken by players.
