THE PADSTOW TOWN COUNCIL (OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2015

NOTICE OF PROPOSALS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Padstow Town Council (hereinafter referred to as “The Council”) proposes to make an order in exercise of its powers under Sections 35, 57 and 59 of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 (hereinafter referred to as “the Act of 1984”) and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act of 1984, and with the consent of the Cornwall Council given under Section 59 of the Act of 1984, the effect of which will be to regulate the use of and set the tariff of charges to be made at the Council’s off street car parks.

The Council proposes:

1. to revoke The Padstow Town Council (Off-Street Parking Places) Order 2010 2. to make and enact The Padstow Town Council (Off-Street Parking Places ) Order 2015      3. to implement the fees and charges for the car parks set out in Schedule 1    4. to extend the Railway Car Park Parking Place to include all land owned by Padstow Town  Council as marked on Land Registry title number CL289771    5. to clarify the Lawns Car Park Parking Place as all land owned by Padstow Town Council as marked on Land Registry title number CL215702

A copy of the Draft Order and the Order of 2010 together with maps of the car parks concerned and a Statement of Reasons for proposing to make this Order may be inspected free of charge between 9.30 am – 1 pm and 2pm – 3.30 pm Monday to Friday at The Council Offices, Unit 5b, Trecerus Industrial Estate, Padstow, Cornwall, PL28 8RW.
