MUGA Update: Equipment

Jul 24, 2024 | News

Please can we remind users of the MUGA to read the ‘Important Information regarding equipment’ signage which is installed on site before thinking about adjusting any equipment. You can find a copy of this information here. Unfortunately someone has moved the tennis set without the proper equipment, which has caused damage to the same. The Council removed the tension/removal device as the contractor who installed the area advised that user tend to over tighten the net and caused damage this way.

Padstow Community Fire Station contacted the Council for permission to hold an event on the MUGA this coming Sunday (28.07.24) which makes use of both 5 side pitches, therefore the tennis net and basket ball hoops will be removed and re-instated on Monday 29.07.24.

We believe the MUGA is well used and great asset for the Community. We would be grateful if users can ensure they have understood the signs we have in position and work in line with the information so the area and equipment is kept nice for all.
