Important Information

The following information is considered important information:

  • You will be notified within 10 working days as to whether your interest is successful or unsuccessful.
  • Should you be successful, a Bandstand Agreement will be sent by email and the Council requires a signed Bandstand Agreement returned within 10 working days. Failure to return the Agreement within the time frame or if conditions detailed within the Agreement are not met, the Council reserves the right to revoke the offer and release the slot.
  • There is no reserve list for dates. Only one slot per band will be accepted initially, this is to allow more bands the opportunity. Bands are welcome to resubmit an interest for date showing as ‘available’ at any stage.
  • All performances are subject to Cornwall Council agreeing the event road closure dates and an appropriately trained person authorised by Padstow Town Council being available to man the road closure barrier. If the road closure is not agreed, or should unforeseen circumstances prevent the barrier being provided, performances will not take place and bookings will have to be cancelled.
  • The Council will reserve 2 coach parking spaces for bands on their performance date. These will be available from 1 hour before the agreed performance time until 1 hour after and parking permits will be issued for display. Any parking outside of this will need to be paid for in the usual way. Please note that Cornwall Council are responsible for the enforcement of Padstow Town Council car parks. Failure to display your permit or otherwise incorrect parking may result in the issuing of a Penalty Charge Notice from Cornwall Council. The Town Council cannot get involved in any parking disputes.
