Current Improvements
Padstow Town Council has been pushing ahead with improvements to the Lawns Car park area. Padstow Skate Park was successfully opened earlier this year and is receiving much use and we are currently undertaking several improvements to the car park which will not only make access to the area easier but safer too.

Future Improvements
We now want to look at the possibility of re-developing the Lawns Tennis Courts into a Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA). A MUGA will not only improve the existing provision but will enable us to increase the range of sporting activities available to the community. The aim is that it will be a versatile and safe space for physical activity, suitable for a range of ages to enjoy, providing valuable social and health benefits for all.We are in the process of purchasing the Core Building and would welcome your input into its future use. The Core Building is also located on the Lawns Car Park, directly opposite the tennis courts, and currently used as a meeting space by some local community groups. The Core Building and new MUGA are ideally situated to each other as community facilities with a potential to offer complementary uses.
