Nov 16, 2020 | News

Waste collections over the festive period. As in previous years, there will be no rubbish and recycling collections on Christmas Day.

Collections that were due on Christmas Day:

  • Rubbish due to be collected on Christmas Day will be collected Friday 1 January.
  • Recycling due to be collected on Christmas Day will be collected Saturday 2 January.
  • Garden waste due to be collected on Christmas Day will be collected Saturday 2 January.

Waste and recycling will be collected on the normal collection days during the rest of the Christmas period. People should ensure their bins, recycling and garden waste (if subscribed to this service) are out by 7am as collection times may be earlier or later than usual.

Further information is available at www.cornwall.gov.uk/christmas.

If you have any questions, please contact Cornwall Council’s Waste and Recycling team on 0300 1234 141.
