Cornwall Council Pop-Up Sites – Tender Now Open

Dec 16, 2021 | News

Cornwall Council launched a programme of trade concessions across its assets, known as ‘Pop Up Sites’ back in 2016. The aim of the scheme is to encourage more users to Cornwall Council’s assets, provide opportunities for new and existing businesses to trade without being tied into long-term leases and to raise funds to help protect and maintain Cornwall’s open spaces. Since the beginning the programme has been a real success with over fifty businesses supported, generating a significant income across all services.

The programme is now in its seventh year and is currently open for tenders, traders to commence on 5 April 2022, which is the start of the new financial year.

For our parish the location site available from Cornwall Council is:

  • Entrance to the Camel Trail – Padstow

For further information please visit Cornwall Councils web site http://www.cornwall.gov.uk/popupsites where you can view information on all the sites, frequently asked questions, assessment criteria and how to apply.

The closing date for tenders will be midday on 31st January 2022.
