North Quay Toilets – family room closed.

Dec 23, 2021 | News

The Baby Changing Unit has been vandalised at North Quay, along with the override exit button.

Whilst this may seem like “harmless fun” to the individual/s who did this, just think about this for one second – this could have ended up so very, very worse. What if a parent had placed their young child on it and not noticed it had been vandalised. This isn’t “harmless fun”, these actions could cause serious harm.

Due to this vandalism and for safety we have closed the family room facilities for now, we hope you understand. We hope to keep the remainder of our toilets open, let’s hope we can. The Town Council has already been provided with some useful information which we have passed on to the local police team. We would urge anyone who should notice any anti-social behaviour or know who has done this to please not hesitate and report it.
