The homes were designed and are being delivered by Poltair Homes on the Trecerus Farm development in Padstow. The new homes will be open to people with a local connection to the area.
The development includes:
- 28 social rented flats, bungalows and houses. These properties will range from one to four bedrooms.
- 27 family-sized shared ownership houses of two and three bedrooms.
- Areas of public open space and a cycle path.
The homes will be energy efficient, supporting the Council’s climate change emergency by providing sustainable housing. Each property will be built ready for electric vehicle charging points to be installed for individual cars, and will be heated by low carbon air source heat pumps.
It is expected that the first homes will be available in summer 2022 with the remainder coming forward in summer 2023.
Eligibility criteria will apply to all the homes to ensure the properties are offered to households who can demonstrate a local connection.
When available, both rent and shared ownership properties will be advertised on Cornwall Housing’s website. For shared ownership enquiries please contact sharedownershipsales@cornwallhousing.org.uk
