Dec 20, 2022 | News

Cornwall Council pop up site tender application process is now open and available until 12 noon on Friday 20.01.23.

The aim of this scheme is to encourage users to Cornwall Council’s assets, provide opportunities for new and existing businesses to trade without being tied into long-term leases. In our area Cornwall Council have one location site which is the entrance to the Camel Trail, Padstow.

Visit Cornwall Councils Pop Up Site webpage – www.cornwall.gov.uk/popupsites for information on all the sites, frequently asked questions, assessment criteria and how to apply.

The tender will be an open tender to explore the widest range of options for the sites, which could vary from food and drink sales, ice cream sales, deck chair hire, fitness companies and other services. However some opportunities have been limited and this is stated on the information sheets. The intention is to find new and exciting ideas for the concessions which enhance an area.  Upon return each submission will be reviewed by relevant Cornwall Council officers and will be assessed upon 60% quality and 40% income, once they have been assessed they will inform you if any tender has been successful for the site.

The closing date will be midday on 20 January 2023.
