Padstow Cemetery Notice

PRIOR NOTIFICATION – REMINDER

We wish to give you prior notification and advise that Christmas items on graves in Padstow Cemetery will be removed in February.  The team will begin to remove wreaths and other Christmas items in the week beginning 20 February 2023.

The Council finds that wreaths and decorations have usually deteriorated to a poor state after one month.  Furthermore, this is in preparation for grass cutting by the Council team, when the weather allows, which is a part of the Council’s ongoing maintenance programme to ensure the cemetery remains a reverential and respectful place.

If there are any Christmas items on graves that EROB owners wish to keep, please remove them prior to 20 February 2023.

For more information on the maintenance of grave spaces and the Council’s right to remove items, please refer to The Padstow Town Council Cemetery Regulations by visiting www.padstow-tc.gov.uk/local-services/padstow-cemetery/ or contacting the Council Offices on 01841 532296.

A copy of this notice has been placed in Padstow Cemetery.
