Scam Alert

Jun 22, 2023 | News

We have been made aware of someone cold calling businesses requesting to speak to the owner and claiming to be from the Town Council. They are claiming to be selling advertising space on the Town Council website.
This is NOT Padstow Town Council.  This is a scam for money.
The Town Council does NOT sell advertising space or affiliate links.
If you are ever unsure whether you are speaking to a genuine representative of Padstow Town Council you can:
– Request that the Officer sends you an email to back up a conversation. They will always be happy to do this and it will always come from an official gov.uk email address.
– Hang up and contact the Town Council Contact | Padstow Town Council (padstow-tc.gov.uk)
